Graphic Designer
Graphic Designer
Bring creativity, curiosity, and craft to a brand that's building the visual identity of live entertainment in India
Why This Role Exists
Good design is how people feel thumpN before they experience it
At thumpN, everything a fan sees before they walk through the gates, a social post, an event graphic, a push notification, a piece of merch, is a chance to make them feel something. We are building a brand in a space that has never had one done properly, and we need someone who cares about making it look like nothing else out there.
This is a junior role, but it is not a small one. You will work across social, marketing, brand, and product, touching real output every day. You do not need a decade of experience. You need taste, speed, the fundamentals, and the hunger to grow fast.
What You'll Actually Do
Real responsibilities, not a wish list
Social and campaign design
Design static and animated social media creatives across Instagram, X, YouTube, and other platforms.
Translate campaign briefs into visuals that are on-brand, on-time, and built for each platform’s format.
Move fast on reactive content around live events, artist announcements, and cultural moments.
Iterate based on feedback without ego and without losing momentum.
Marketing and brand collateral
Support the creation of pitch decks, one-pagers, event graphics, email templates, and merch mockups.
Help maintain and evolve thumpN’s visual identity across touchpoints, keeping colour, type, and layout consistent.
Explore new visual styles, illustration directions, and design trends to keep the work feeling current.
Day-to-day production
Manage your own files, versions, and handoffs cleanly and without being chased.
Work closely with Marketing, Social, Content, and Partnerships teams on briefs and timelines.
Use AI tools where they genuinely speed up the work without compromising the output.
What You Bring
Specific experience, not vague credentials
Required
2 or more years of design experience. Internships and freelance work count. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome.
Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign at minimum.
A strong eye for layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy. The fundamentals matter most.
Comfort working within brand guidelines and design systems, not just freestyling.
Familiarity with AI tools and an honest sense of where they help and where they do not.
Genuine curiosity about design. You follow designers, save references, and care about the details.
Preferred
Experience with Figma for design handoff or collaborative workflows.
Exposure to motion or basic animation in After Effects or similar tools.
Background in entertainment, youth culture, consumer brands, or media.
A portfolio that shows range across social content, brand work, and print or digital collateral.
Non-Negotiables
How we know this is the right fit
You have taste and you know it when you see it. You can articulate why something works and why something does not. You have strong visual instincts and you apply them consistently.
You take feedback and make the work better. You do not defend every decision. You listen, you push back when it matters, and you come back with something stronger.
You are fast without being sloppy. Live entertainment runs on tight timelines. You can move quickly and still care about the details.
You are not looking for a comfortable gig. You want to build something that does not exist yet and make it look like nothing else out there. That ambition shows in your work.
You are curious and you stay that way. You follow what is happening in design, you save references, you experiment. You do not wait to be inspired.
