Discover the organisers behind India's best live experiences, bring them to thumpN, and help them reach the right audience
Why This Role Exists
Most organisers haven’t heard of us yet...
Something worth showing up for is happening somewhere every day. The people behind those experiences are spread across platforms, communities, and channels. Finding them takes work. Building enough trust for them to list with us takes more.
This is where you come in. You will spend your time discovering organisers, understanding what they are building, and opening the conversations that bring them onto thumpN. Some days that means research. Some days it means outreach. Most days it is both.
If you are curious, switched on, and do not mind hearing “not right now” before you hear “let’s do it”, you will fit right in.
What You'll Actually Do
Real responsibilities, not a wish list
Find organisers
Research across platforms, social media, websites, and communities to surface organisers and shows we do not know about yet.
Build and maintain a clean database of organisers, contacts, and show information.
Spot interesting formats, scenes, and communities worth bringing into the ecosystem.
Start conversations
Reach out through email, WhatsApp, calls, and DMs.
Work the database we give you and find what we do not have yet on your own.
Explain what thumpN does and why it is worth their time.
Follow up consistently and keep conversations moving, most yeses come from the second or third message, not the first.
Help grow the ecosystem
Guide organisers through the listing process and make it easy for them to get started.
Track outreach activity and keep records up to date.
Share organiser feedback with the team. The platform gets better when you do.
What You Bring
Specific experience, not vague credentials
Required
Strong written and verbal communication. You can pitch, write a sharp email, and hold your own on a call.
Quick on your feet. You read a room, find a way in, and do not get rattled by a no.
Confidence speaking with people you have never met.
Good research instincts and genuine attention to detail.
Comfort with spreadsheets, online tools, and figuring things out as you go.
Ownership mindset. If something needs doing, you do not wait to be told twice
Preferred
A genuine interest in live events, entertainment, or local communities.
Familiarity with Google Workspace, AI tools, or CRM platforms.
The kind of curiosity that notices a poster, checks the show page, and wants to know who is behind it.
Non-Negotiables
How we know this is the right fit
You enjoy talking to people. This role is built around conversations. Cold outreach, follow-ups, calls with strangers. If that sounds draining rather than energising, this is not the right fit.
You follow through. The first message rarely closes anything. You track, you follow up, and you keep going until you get a real answer.
You stay organised. Good outreach is consistent outreach. You keep your database clean, your notes current, and your pipeline moving.
You are comfortable with volume. A lot of conversations, a lot of research, a lot of repetition. You do not lose quality as the numbers go up.
You are curious about what is happening in live entertainment. The best people in this role are fans of the space. They notice things, ask questions, and bring ideas back to the team.
