Events Marketing Lead
Events Marketing Lead
Own the strategy, own the numbers, own the outcome.
Why This Role Exists
thumpN's marketing function has outgrown one person running everything themselves. As the number of shows, cities, and events on the platform keeps growing, someone needs to sit across strategy, spend, and the team, and make the calls that keep GMV, CAC, and ROAS moving in the right direction at the same time.
This role owns marketing end to end: from the strategy in the deck, to the numbers on the dashboard, to the people running the campaigns. You'll set the direction, but you'll also stay close enough to the work to catch what's breaking before it becomes a problem.
What You'll Actually Do
Fix what's broken. Optimize what's working. That's most of the job..
Strategy and execution
Own marketing strategy and execution across every event, city, and function thumpN touches.
Work with the events marketing team to build strategy for each event.
Analyze what's working, what isn't, and recommend the strategic adjustments that matter.
Coordinate across teams on new market launches and major event campaigns.
Day to day execution
Review performance dashboards daily: spend, ROAS, CAC, tickets sold.
Make real-time calls, pause what's underperforming, scale what's working.
Keep a close eye on major events and campaigns while they're live.

How we know this is the right fit
You translate strategy into execution. A plan that never leaves the deck doesn't count here. You turn strategy into campaigns, timelines, and outcomes.
You see the big picture without losing the details. You can talk GMV targets in one meeting and dashboard numbers in the next, without dropping either.
You make data-driven decisions quickly. Waiting for perfect data isn't an option when a campaign is bleeding spend. You decide with what you have.
You drive accountability without micromanaging. Your team should feel ownership over the work, not watched over it.
You prioritize ruthlessly. Everything feels urgent in this business. You know what actually is.
